Firefly Geromarco Cup at Spinnaker Club

The sun shone and wind blew (unpredictably) for the
25 Fireflys sailing in the New Forest on Saturday.
Barney Smith/Damian Boreham won the first race from
the competitive fleet, closely followed by Nigel
Wakefield/Rachel Crebbin. Greg Ansell/Cynthia beat
the pack to finish 3rd.
After some place changing Wakefield/Crebbin took the
second race from Smith/Boreham, with Will Mason/Izzy
Bretherton 3rd.
Only Smith/Boreham and Wakefield/Crebbin could now
win. In their personal match race Wakefield came
out victorious, Greg Ansell won the final race to take
the bronze podium position.
