TEAM ADVENTURE ANNOUNCES MEDIA PARTNERSHIPS WITH NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC AND WBUR RADIO WEB SITES

BARCELONA, SPAIN, December 28, 2000 - Team Adventure today announced a three-way partnership with the web sites of the National Geographic Society and those of National Public Radio affiliate stations in Boston, MA, and Providence, RI, to report on its race around the world in The Race of the Millennium.

The team members, led Cam Lewis of Lincolnville, ME, will provide regular photo, text and voice file updates to the joint web site as they race around the world aboard their 110-foot sailing catamaran Team Adventure.

The innovative web site was launched today with unique addresses reflecting the diverse interests of its media partners. The addresses are: www.nationalgeographic.com/teamrace and
publicbroadcasting.net/wbur/news/features/2001/boat-race/.

The Race of the Millennium is a grueling, non-stop 27,000-mile sailing sprint around the world. Beginning on December 31st, six giant catamarans will set sail from a starting line off Barcelona, Spain. After rounding the Cape of Good Hope, sailing through Cook Strait between the North and South Islands of New Zealand, and rounding Cape Horn, the first boats are expected in Marseilles, France, in 60 to 65 days, breaking all existing sailing records for circumnavigations of the globe.

www.nationalgeographic.com, the web site of the National Geographic Society, is the educational partner in the collaborative venture. The National Pubic Radio affiliates WBUR in Boston, MA, at www.WBUR.org, and WRNI in
Providence, RI, at www.wrni.org, are the exclusive radio media partners.

"Nationalgeographic.com delivers adventure, exploration, and education at a click of a mouse," said Mitchell Praver, president of nationalgeographic.com.

"This partnership allows us to share in Team Adventure's exciting challenge to win The Race and raise awareness about the world around us."

Robin Lubbock, Manager of New Media for the WBUR Group, Boston, said the stations' site will serve as an educational tool for visitors.

"We've designed the site as a voyage of discovery for the curious and engaged everywhere," Lubbock said. "Site visitors can learn and interact in a world that is completely new to them. We're taking the mission of public radio and translating it to the language of the web."

Cam Lewis, skipper and CEO of Team Adventure said that the web site was aimed at providing content extending beyond the excitement and thrills of sailing at high speed around the world."

"Children have always been close to the heart of this campaign," Lewis said. "Our race around the world is just the beginning of a long term relationship with kids who we want to inspire and educate about the wonderful world around us.

"With our mega-catamaran as the vehicle, the web site will provide interactive educational content for children and adults alike. It will be a media outlet for daily content broadcast from on board, with expert analysis and commentary by members of the Team Adventure team.

"Having National Geographic and these major Public Radio stations firmly behind us lends added credibility to our efforts. Together I am sure that we can make a difference in this world."

Monster(.com, the leading global online careers site and the flagship brand of TMP Worldwide (NASDAQ: "TMPW"; ASX: "TMP"), has signed a Sponsor Level Partnership - becoming the first major sponsor of the team.
