Despite fluky weather conditions continuing to disturb the races, with wind reaching 12 knots at the most and fading to only 8, the sailors managed to complete the first Round Robin Series and three flights of the second Round Robin Series. The young sailing hero Dean Barker of New Zealand remains in first position on the scoreboard with 10 wins from 13 races. Second place is divided between Peter Gilmour's Australian team and the Frenchman Bertrand Pace. They both have 9 points. Danish sailor Sten Mohr is also close to the semi finals with 8.5 points but he will have to sail really well because Francois Brenac of France has only one point less. Luc Pillot is very close with 7 points. Magnus Holmberg has 6 points. Andy Green firmly holds the eighth position on the scoreboard with 5 points. Tomislav Basic, Jesper Bank and Jesper Radich Johansen all have 4 points. Jes Gram-Hansen has 2 points.

There were some tough races today. It was very interesting to watch the match between two favorites, Gilmour and Barker, which was decided by an excellent start of the Gilmour's team. Basic of Croatia had another bad day with only one win against Pace.

The Race Committee decided that the lay-day has to be cancelled due to continuous delays of the races. Mr Niko BuliŠ¶, the Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, visited the regatta.
